The Danum Valley Conservation Area (DVCA) covers 43,800 hectares of undisturbed tropical rainforest in eastern Sabah. With its pristine forest and rich biodiversity Danum attracts naturalists, wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers from around the world. It is one of Sabah’s most famous protected areas and a favoured location for wildlife filmmakers.
Day 1
Day 1
Meet and greet, register and have a briefing on the activities and facilities at Danum Valley. Depart to danum valley for the scheduled transfer (2 hours) to Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Attend a brief orientation before lunch. In the afternoon, depart for a guided walk on a nature trail (400 m boardwalk circuit) and the 300 m canopy walkway. In the evening, have dinner at the lodge. If weather permits, go for a night drive in search of nocturnal animals. Overnight at Borneo Rainforest Lodge.
Day 2
Day 2
Early in the morning, breakfast and check out and proceed for today activities. Ride to Twin Blue hole for diving (if the weather permitted). Lunch at nearby restaurant. Ride to Tabin Wildlife Reserve from Twin Blue Hole and check in at Tabin Wildlife Resort. After check in trekking through the jungle for 20 minutes, arrive at the elevated bare area of the mud volcano and try to identify the multitude of animal footprints belonging to different wildlife. Back to resort for dinner. Stay overnight.

While enjoying your breakfast, you can enjoy the serene environment at the Cafe and observe birds, small mammals and insects that are active in the vicinity. Check out and back to airport.
